BATA Offers Free Rides on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024
The Bay Area Transportation Authority is again offering free rides on all fixed-route Loop buses on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024, to encourage people to get to the polls and vote. BATA believes transportation should not be a barrier to voting. Riders can hop on any of BATA’s City or Village Loop routes for free on Election Day. BATA has been offering free transportation on Election Day since 2018 and gave more than 900 free rides last year.
BATA's fixed routes are Bayline, 1, 2, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, WEST, 16, & 31
Riders can call BATA Customer Service at 231.941.2324, visit www.bata.net or find route and schedule information at www.bata.net/schedules, www.batabustracker.com, Googlemaps.com or the Transit App.
